I did my PhD in physics about molecular motors on surfaces using low-temperature scanning tunnelling microscopy (STM) under the supervision of Prof. Leonhard Grill at the University of Graz, Austria (2017-2021).
I joined Elettra Sincrotrone Trieste, Italy, in 2022, as a postdoctoral researcher at the CoSMoS endstation at the SuperESCA beamline, focussing on the growth and characterisation of 2D materials, such as transition metal dichalcogenides, by means of photoemission spectroscopy and STM.
Since October 2024 I am a postdoctoral researcher at CNR-IOM. Here, I am extending my expertise to time-resolved photoemission spectroscopy in order to study the electron dynamics of 2D materials, in conjunction with STM experiments.
