Filippo Romanato is Associate Professor at the Department of Physics and Astronomy (Padua University), where coordinates of the Nanodevices Group.

He is nominated Research Director of IOM-CNR where is also co-founder of the nano fabrication group, he served as director of the LAbororatory for Nanofabrication of Nanodevices (LaNN) in Padua, Scientific advisor of SM-Optics (Milan) and is still group leader at Institute of Pediatric Research (Padova).

He was visitor scientist at MIT, scientists at ESRF synchrotron, professor at NTU in Singapore. Founder of three spin-offs related to nanofabrication, biosensing and telecom.
