After a B.S. in Physics from the University of Trieste in 2003 and a Ph.D. from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, in 2007 Daniele joined the NEST laboratory of Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa (Italy) as a research engineer. Initially focused on III-V nanowire growth via CBE, later on he has also managed the NEST cleanroom. In 2024 he has joined CNR-IOM in Trieste as a technologist. Currently working at the Facility of Nanofabrication he is focusing in device fabrication, particularly on III-V heterostructures.
During his career, he has co-authored more than 100 articles in international scientific papers.
