A. Magistrato got her PhD at ETZ Zuerich, Swizerland and she was postdoc at University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia PA, USA.

In 2003 she became Tenure track at INMF- Democritos simulation center at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA), Trieste, Italy.

In 2006 she is permanent research staff of of CNR-IOM@SISSA where she leads a laboratory of computational biology and biochemistry.

Since 2018 she is responsabile of CNR-IOM at SISSA.
