I'm associate professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Trieste.

My research activity is mainly dedicated to the study of self-assembly process of small molecules on surfaces and of on-surface synthesis of 2D systems.

In particular, the attention is focused on the chemical, morphological and structural properties of the Self Assembled Monolayers (SAMs) and to the possible formation of covalently bound architectures from molecular precursors, as the result of the interplay between molecule-molecule and molecule-substrate interactions.
